SCOTLAND star Billy Gilmour has bid a fond farewell to Chelsea.
The midfielder completed a deadline day move to Brighton late last night.
The 21-year-old penned a four-year deal with the Premier League outfit, with the Seagulls paying £9million for the internationalist.
Gilmour moved to Chelsea aged just 16 from Rangers.
He came through the Stamford Bridge side's academy and made his first team debut under Frank Lampard.
Gilmour made a huge initial impact on the Chelsea side, impressing against Liverpool and Everton in his first couple of games.
Since then, he spent time out on loan with Norwich to gain more first team minutes.
Now, he's getting set for his Premier League bow with Brighton this weekend, who take on struggling Leicester City.
And the Ardrossan-lad has posted an emotional farewell video to Chelsea.
He wrote on Instagram: "Thank you for everything @chelseafc. I've developed so much here and met people who will be friends for life.
"I've grown from a young boy to a man but I feel now is the time to make the next step in my career.
"Good luck and all the best! Once a blue, always a blue!"
