RANGERS ace John Lundstram has revealed that he's been playing through the pain barrier for a number of weeks.
The midfielder admits he has an ankle knock which he's been unable to shake for around the last three weeks.
The 28-year-old says he can't actually remember the last time he played without some sort of niggling injury.
The ex-Sheffield United goal hero was a guest on the podcast of UFC star Paddy Pimblett.
He revealed that he went for a scan on Monday, however, he was permitted to play against Dundee by the club's doctors.
Lundstram insists he'll always fight through the pain so long as it doesn't cause further damage.
Speaking on Chattin Pony, he revealed: "I've been playing with an ankle injury like the last three weeks.
"Just got it scanned on Monday after the last game we had and I've just got some tear and a little skin thing. I don't know the scientific word for it.
"As long as they say 'it's structurally sound and you're not going to do any further damage and you can crack on', I just crack on.
"I can't remember the last time I played without some sort of niggle.
"You see loads of players who are just injured constantly.
"I think most of it's mental. If you can deal with pain, you're fine."
