Rangers pair James Sands and Malik Tillman will not be heading to the World Cup this month.
The Gers duo have been left out of USA's squad for the major tournament in Qatar this winter.
Gregg Berhalter named his 26-man player pool this evening.
In a bitter blow to both Sands and Tillman, neither player will find themselves on the plane to the Middle East.
Celtic's Cameron Carter-Vickers has been included in the squad.
