GRAEME SOUNESS and Roy Keane have clashed live on-air this morning during ITV's coverage of Argentina vs Saudi Arabia at the World Cup.
The broadcasting duo were in disagreement over a penalty call that led to Lionel Messi opening the scoring in the contest.
Leandro Paredes was hauled to the ground by a Saudi defender and after a VAR review, the spot kick was given.
Souness believes the call was correct but Keane was not having it at all insisting that the decision will only encourage simulation in the game.
With the pair disagreeing on the decision it made for a feisty interchange on ITV's half-time coverage.
Host Laura Woods and Joe Cole were left silent as the pair went head to head.

Here is the transcript in full...
Souness: "He is not looking and I think that is a penalty.
Keane: "No, no, no. All that is going to do is encourage diving. He's dragging him to the ground."
Souness: "Roy, you are not listening to a word I am saying. It is a directive from the referees."
Keane: "I listened to exactly what you were saying. It is going to encourage diving."
Souness: "This is not about opinions. That is fact. The guy wasn't looking at the ball."
Keane: "You want my opinion? That is not a penalty."
Souness: "It is not about our opinions it is about the laws of the game."
Keane: "Then what are we here for? I am here to give my opinion. That is not a penalty. That is my opinion that is why I am here."
Souness: "I have heard you say it 10 times, now let someone else speak. You will learn a lot more if you listen and don't talk."
