Rangers must aspire to win title number 56 as soon as possible.
That's the message from Michael Beale.
The new Ibrox manager insists adding league title and domestic trophies is the short-to-medium term aim for the club.
The Gers are currently nine-points behind Celtic in this season's title race.
And while Beale hasn't promised anything to the fans, his message is that winning games is all his team can do in their situation.
Addressing the media for the first time as Rangers manager, he said: "We need to win 56 as soon as possible, we need to improve our cup record and we need to improve our identity on the pitch.
"My job is to get the best out of the individual to make a stronger team and a stronger Rangers.
"The job here at Rangers is always to win the next game. The most important thing for us now is to focus on the next game."
