Simon Jordan believes Michael Beale will "get his backside handed to him" by Celtic after the former QPR boss took over the hot seat at Rangers.
The former Ibrox assistant left Loftus Road to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst after he was sacked following a string of poor results in the league and in Europe.
Beale has been criticised by some for his move north of the border as he recently turned down the chance to manage Wolves in the Premier League.
talkSPORT pundit Jordan has been vocal about the appointment and he reckons the Englishman will struggle to make improvements at Ibrox.
He said: "This guy, in my view, will get his backside handed to him by Celtic. Celtic are miles away in terms of their dugout and their financial section. I think he will reap what he sows.
"There are too many football managers out there who don't understand that it's not about taking every opportunity, but taking the right opportunity.
"Loyalty is a two-way transaction. The bottom line is QPR gave him an opportunity, nobody else game him that. He was going from being an assistant manager, which is vastly different. Integrity and decency and loyalty are things that will carry you much further."
Beale apologised to any QPR fans angered by his decision to walk away just a month after declaring that he was “all in” at Loftus Road.
The 42-year-old claimed he was fully committed to the Sky Bet Championship club after turning down the Wolves approach in October.
Asked at his unveiling press conference at Ibrox whether he understood why QPR fans felt betrayed by his change of heart, Beale said: “Listen, I completely understand. At the time I spoke with honesty in that moment.
“I apologise for disappointing the people down there, I think it’s a really good project but this one was one I wasn’t willing to walk away from.”
