Michael Beale has ruled out a Rangers transfer move for Tom Davies.
The Everton midfielder had been linked with a switch to Glasgow in recent weeks.
But Beale has ended any speculation insisting Davies won't become a Rangers player.
The Ibrox boss hailed Davies as a "very good" player but insisted there is no transfer interest from Rangers.
Beale was quizzed on links with Davies but ruled out any possibility of Davies joining Rangers.
Responding to a question on links with the Everton midfielder, he said: "There is no interest on our side towards Tom.
"There has been no talk about Tom, you caught me on the hop that day and I said a couple of nice things about him because he is a young British player who I saw coming through as a young player.
"I am pleased to see his progress, he plays for a fantastic football club and I think that is where he is going to be, he is not going to be a Rangers player in the future."

Probed on links with Davies and Todd Cantwell previously, Beale said: "No names, but I think they are both good players to be fair.
"Todd was an excellent player when he was young and playing against my Liverpool Under 23s. I thought he would go on and have a fantastic career.
"He had that at the start and he is maybe just looking for a move to reignite it but I think he is a fantastic player at a good age.
"And Tom Davies used to kick my Liverpool Under 23s team all around the place.
"There’s a bit of John Lundstram about him. But again, two really good players.
"Not confirming anything with those two. But there are a lot of players we are speaking to at the moment."
