Nicolas Raskin’s move to Rangers will be 'finalised in the coming hours', according to reports.
The midfielder, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has struggled for game-time at Standard Liege and hasn’t played since November after falling out with manager Ronny Deila.
Reports from France on Tuesday morning suggested that the Belgium Under-21 internationalist had completed a medical in London on Saturday ahead of finalising a move to Ibrox this week.
That was followed by a report from Belgian football journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who wrote on Twitter that the deal will be completed imminently.
Raskin is set to sign a four-and-a-half-year deal after completing a medical at the weekend and agreeing personal terms, with Rangers representatives “coming to Liege to finalize the deal with #RSCL in the coming hours”.

Tavolieri added that Standard value Raskin at around £2.2million, while Rangers are reportedly pursuing a deal for around £900,000 with a sell-on clause attached.
Belgium Under-21s manager Jacky Mathijssen is keen to see Raskin move on from Standard during the January window so he will be fit and firing for this summer’s Under-21 European Championships, and believes the 21-year-old would be a good fit at Ibrox.

“Of course Nico's situation at Standard is a concern,” he told the Daily Record.
“I know he realises too that if he wants to be part of our Under-21 squad for the Euros this summer he needs to be playing.
“It’s very important for me as well as Nico that he finds a good club. Hopefully it’s sorted as soon as possible.
“The Rangers fans will be delighted if he goes to Glasgow. He’s a player who is always all-in.
“He’s got a good heart, is always ready to work but has excellent technique too and is very flexible tactically.
“He can play No.8, he can play in the pockets. That’s how he plays for me in the Under-21s.
“He’s very young but his potential is high. My assistant Thomas [Buffel] played in Glasgow with Rangers and he knows very well the pressures there so I’m sure he’ll be in touch as soon as this is made official to help him.”
