Josh Onomah has left Fulham after agreeing a mutual termination of contract at the Premier League the club.
The midfielder was linked with a possible move to Ibrox earlier this month - with Alan Hutton touting a switch to Rangers as something the 25-year-old is more than capable of handling.
Michael Beale is thought to be an admirer of Onomah with reports suggesting the Ibrox boss had tried to land the player when he was at QPR.
Now, Onomah is available on a free transfer having left Fulham over a lack of game time.
It's not known whether Onomah is a player Beale is interested in bringing to Ibrox.
But the midfielder - who played 76 times for Fulham - is not expected to struggle for offers with as many as six clubs reportedly vying for his signature.
A Fulham statement read: "The Club can confirm that a mutual termination of contract has been agreed with Josh Onomah.
"Onomah joined Fulham in the summer of 2019 as part of the deal that took Ryan Sessegnon to Tottenham Hotspur, making 37 appearances that season as we returned to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
"He saved his best form for the business end of the campaign, excelling during our three Play-Off matches. His opening goal against Cardiff City in the First Leg of the Semi-Final – a dazzling individual effort – will go down in history, while he played a prominent role at Wembley against Brentford.
"Onomah didn’t play as much as he would have liked in the Premier League, but got another promotion under his belt the following campaign as Marco Silva’s men claimed the Championship title.
"His two appearances for us in the Premier League this season takes his Fulham record to 76 matches, in which he scored five times.
"Everyone at the Club would like to thank Josh for his efforts during his three-and-a-half years in SW6, and wish him the very best of luck in the future."
