Rangers boss Michael Beale has made it clear that he sympathises with the frustrations some of the Ibrox support currently have with the club.
The Light Blues defeated Kilmarnock 3-1 at home in their recent fixture as they returned to winning ways after the League Cup final defeat to Celtic.
Before the Scottish Premiership fixture, Gers fan group the Union Bears unveiled a banner calling for change at the club.
It read: "After fifty-five titles you took your eye off the ball. Time for change."
The Ibrox boss addressed this ahead of Wednesday's match against Hibernian at Easter Road
He said: "I'm in here working every day. Listen, the fans are entitled to make their feelings known when they do, they support the team at other times fantastically.
"They put their money in and they come and we'd be a lot worse off without our fans, I think that's fair to say.
"I would like it if we were all together but I understand at times there's going to be discontent. When we lose a Cup final in the way that we played, I think in the days after you are going to see a reaction from the fans and it's important that you see a reaction from the players on the pitch.
"I thought, certainly first-half but for the majority of the game at the weekend, we got that. That's all the players can do and I've got to try and keep that away from them.
"That's my job. The other things I can't really control.
"It is a heavy shirt at times but it is a great opportunity to play for our club but with it comes big expectations. They (the players) are aware of that and we have spoken about it and they are massively disappointed as well.
"There is still a lot to play for and for where we want to go as a team there is an even bigger aim for what we want to. Over these next 13 or 14 games we know we need to win as many as we can.
"We want to retain the Scottish Cup. We can only take care of Rangers and outside of the one game I think we have been doing that.”

Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson and sporting director Ross Wilson were also targeted in displays.
Ahead of the match against Kilmarnock, a banner with images of Robertson and Wilson's faces crossed out was draped from another section of the stadium.
The Union Bears group previously cited a Beale remark in a banner blast over the club's recent trophy troubles.
Referencing Beale's comments on "standards" at Rangers after allowing Partick Thistle an uncontested goal in the Scottish Cup final clash, a display read: "Two trophies in eleven years. Uphold the standards that matter."
