Rangers B have been successful in an appeal to the Scottish FA against the red card shown to Lewis Budinauckas during the loss to Celtic.
The young goalkeeper was shown a red card in the first half at Ibrox with his side one goal to the good.
Referee Greg Soutar ordered Budinauckas off after he was adjudged to have handled the ball outside the area and denied a clear goal-scoring opportunity in the process.
Following the red card, Ben Quinn levelled for Celtic just before the break. He then netted again, with Adam Brooks scoring a third in the 3-1 win.
Rangers were reduced to eight men by the time the final whistle came with Bailey Rice sent off for two yellow cards on 70 minutes and Adam Devine shown a straight red for a late lunge in the closing stages.

Now, however, a Scottish FA disciplinary update has confirmed the red card for Budinauckas has been overturned with the player free to feature in the Lowland League.
The outcome to the wrongful dismissal appeal read: "Claim Upheld. A4 – Denying the opposing team or an opponent a goal or a goal scoring opportunity.
"The original sanction is rescinded with immediate effect."
A Rangers statement on social media read: "#RangersFC have been successful in appealing the red card shown to Lewis Budinauckas in Sunday’s B Team Old Firm match.
"He is now free of suspension for the side’s fixtures going forward."
Rangers B boss McCallum had said: “It was a ridiculous decision. If you are going to make big decisions then you need to get them right.
“It’s clear that the ball is at the very worst over the line – as in on the line – as he catches it and with his next step he takes it inside the box.
“We were excellent up until that point. We were clearly ahead and controlling it with the chances we created and then that changes the game.”
