Ex-Rangers boss Alex McLeish has insisted the Ibrox side must "believe" they can beat Celtic in the upcoming Scottish Cup semi-final.
The Light Blues have not defeated their Glasgow rivals since last season's iteration of the fixture where an own goal from Parkhead defender Carl Starfelt gave the Gers the win after extra time.
And McLeish feels Michael Beale's men have players that "can match" Celtic.
He said: "They have got the players that can match Celtic. There has to be some sort of strategy as not only are we looking for Rangers' flair players to turn it on but you have go to have a strategy to stop the opposition.
"I went into a final against Arsenal with Birmingham a few years ago and we knew Arsenal's strengths.
"Rangers have to stop Celtic's strengths, I went through a spell when it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
"The guys and everyone at Ibrox have to go into that game believing that they will win not hoping that they will win.
"They must have that belief."

Meanwhile,Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been spotted publically back in the UK for the first time since he was sacked as manager of Rangers.
The Dutchman was axed from his Ibrox position back in November last year following a string of poor league results.
Van Bronckhorst has kept a low profile since, but he was pictured last night at the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City clashed with Arsenal in the top-of-the-table Premier League showdown.
The former Rangers manager was pictured taking a phone call and talkSPORT presenter Jim White also spotted him taking in the action from the stands.

He won the Premier League title in 2001/02 and also the FA Cup in 2002/03.
Van Bronckhorst also has connections to Manchester City and Pep Guardiola after spending time with him in 2019 after leaving his first management job at Feyenoord.
Since his sacking at Ibrox the 48-year-old has not been linked with many management jobs.
