Michael Beale insists his Rangers team need to bounce back from today's Scottish Cup defeat to Celtic with some "dangerous" games ahead.
The Ibrox club were dealt a blow in their quest for silverware at the national stadium today with the League Cup and Premiership title already out of grasp.
Beale now wants his Gers squad to bounce back with five victories in the remaining split fixtures of the season.
Speaking post-match, he said: "We need to lick our wounds and come back. That's what all players have to do.
"We have games to play against the teams around us. They will be dangerous because it's against teams chasing European spots.
"This one will sting for a few days but then we have to come back and get a result against Aberdeen to move us forward."
On the game itself, Beale continued: "I'm here to win derby games and we have to find a way to win. We shot ourselves in the foot again which will be the big takeaway from the game.
"I think defensively we did well and kept Allan McGregor safe all game. We have had big moments of possession and opportunities but we've made a big mistake in a huge game to lose a goal and it's a repeat of what's happened.
"When the dust settles I will look back and take some positives from aspects of the game. To move forward I will have to as the manager of the team but right now it's a massive disappointment."
On the frustration of his team not playing to the whistle for the winning goal, Beale added: "I thought tactically we were good. We had good energy and won a lot of duels. Second half we put in an incredible amount of energy and running into the game, and when our opportunities came we were unable to take them.
"We hit the outside of the post and missed the rebound, we had one or two other chances, Tav with a header and one where Joe Hart makes an instinctive save with his left hand and we come away disappointed.
"There's not much for us to take away. For our fans it's been a horrible season to live through, for the players it's not been great on the inside either. The distance between us and our rivals is slim on the individual days but over the course of the season it will count as two or three trophies to zero and moving forward that's not going to be good enough."
