Bailey Rice has signed a contract extension at Rangers.
The talented midfielder has agreed to extend his stay at his boyhood club until the summer of 2026.
The 16-year-old made his debut for the Ibrox club in a 3-0 victory over Livingston in February, before making further appearances for Michael Beale’s side across pre-season.
The young midfielder has also captained Scotland Under-17s during his time at the club, making the step up to the Scotland Under-19s squad in the most recent international break.

Rice has combined his involvement in the first-team squad this campaign with appearances in the B Team’s varied games programme.
Michael Beale said: “We are delighted that Bailey has extended his contract. This is recognition of the development he has made since joining the club and in making the step up to the first team during the pre-season period.
“Bailey is aware that he has a long road ahead in terms of further improvement, and maintaining the same excellent mentality will be key to him fulfilling his full potential.”
Meanwhile, Rangers have confirmed their Europa League squad ahead of the group stage getting underway.
Omissions include Kieran Dowell, Leon Balogun and Ridvan Yilmaz. Dowell is currently injured, while it appears Balogu and Yilmaz are surplus to requirements.
