Rangers have discovered the extent of Rabbi Matondo's injury.
The Wales international was forced off with a knock to his knee against Motherwell on Sunday.
Post-match Michael Beale admitted that it didn't look good for the 23-year-old.
Now, it has been confirmed that Matondo will be on the sidelines for up to six weeks.
Rangers assistant manager Neil Banfield provided the update while speaking to the media prior to the Viaplay Cup quarter-final against Livingston tomorrow night.
He said: "Rabbi looks like six weeks with his knee. We have built this squad and will be ready to go tomorrow."
More to follow.
