Connor Goldson has apologised to the Rangers fans for the team's nightmare in Cyprus.
The defender was culpable at the opener along with Sam Lammers. Aris Limassol flew out of the traps into an early lead as they capitalised on some poor defending at a set piece by the visitors.
Goldson held his hands up for his involvement in that shambles, as well as the overall dismal performance on show on matchday two of the Europa League.
He insists he and his teammates were rubbish and deserved all of the flak that came their way from the travelling supporters at full-time.
It's been a difficult few days for the club after defeat to Aberdeen, the sacking of Michael Beale and then another loss in Europe.
Reflecting on the night, Goldson said: "The fans have paid a lot of money to come this far and watch us and it’s disappointing. They do that for every game and for us not to win here, it’s rubbish. We have to apologise to them and that’s all we can do.
“We need to apologise, work harder and start winning games. The demands at this club are to win every single game and at the minute, we aren’t doing that.”

Speaking on TNT Sport he added: "The first one is from a set-piece. It’s my man, it’s my fault.
“The second goal we made a mistake and got punished for it. That sums us up at the moment, we are giving away poor goals. And we are not scoring at the other end, so we need to put it right.
“We need to work harder and become a team as quickly as possible. Everything we do has to be together. We need to defend better and get stronger in attack, so a lot of work has to be done.
“We have to work in every way and aspect of the game to get better. We will try our best and work harder."
