Philippe Clement says that Nico Raskin will face another assessment for the injury he sustained at the end of October, with his rehab not going to plan.
The Belgian, 22, was stretchered off in Rangers' 2-1 win over Hearts on October 29.
With Ryan Jack having picked up an injury in the most recent international break, Clement's options in midfield have been limited. Jose Cifuentes started on the bench in today's 2-0 win over St Mirren with Tom Lawrence playing a deeper role alongside John Lundstram.
Speaking after his side's 2-0 win against St Mirren, Clement confirmed that it is unlikely Raskin will make the League Cup Final against Aberdeen on December 17, rating his chances as "very small".
"Ryan Jack will not be so long", he said. "Nico will have a new assessment next week because his rehab is not going well so I am not so happy about that but it is what it is. We have to find solutions."
Raskin joined the club from Standard Liege in January and has represented his country at Under-21 level.
