Rangers have lost their appeal to overturn Jose Cifuentes' red card that he was shown against Dundee.
The Ecuadorian was sent off by Kevin Clancy following a VAR review after he caught striker Amadou Bakayoko late in the challenge.
He was originally booked before the decision was upgraded to a red and the Ibrox side decided to appeal the decision.
The case went before a Scottish FA tribunal on Tuesday where it was decided that the sending-off would stand, meaning the 24-year-old faces a two-game ban.
Cifuentes will now not be available to play in the Viaplay Cup final against Aberdeen on Sunday.

The news is a disappointing update for Philippe Clement, who is already without Nicolas Raskin and Danilo ahead of the weekend clash. It's not yet known if Ryan Jack will recover from a calf knock in time either.
Cifuentes - who arrived from LAFC in the summer under Michael Beale - will also miss next Wednesday's league game against St Johnstone.
Meanwhile, Rangers are reportedly keeping tabs on Everton defender Mason Holgate.
The Englishman is currently on loan at Southampton but Toffees boss Sean Dyche is set to end his spell at St Mary's.

He has not played since November 11 leading to Everton being likely to recall the player.
Middlesbrough and Watford are also said to be interested in the centre-back.
