The ex-Pittodrie centre-back blasted Stewart's commentary of the match as he branded the match "embarrassing" to listen to as an Aberdeen fan.
Stewart was on co-commentary alongside former Rangers full-back Alan Hutton with Rory Hamilton the main commentator for the showpiece final at Hampden.

MS having a go at Rangers all game and AH sticking up for them.🤦🏻♂️
As an Aberdeen fan watching it was embarrassing to listen to, god only knows what the rangers fans thought!

And Mair even suggested Stewart was "anti-Rangers with all his comments" as he criticised the commentary.
He added: "Yes Hutton is good. My point was that he had to defend Rangers every 2 minutes due to MS being anti-Rangers with all his comments."
Rangers lifted the Viaplay Cup trophy after James Tavernier's strike in the second half claimed a 1-0 win at the national stadium.
