Here is every word John Lundstram had to say following Rangers' 3-1 win over Kilmarnock at Ibrox.
How are you feeling after your ankle injury?
It's been fine, I trained a couple of days before the Old Firm so all good.
Has the manager been telling you to play more adventurous?
I think that's been one of our main aims anyway, trying to get in behind teams a little bit more. You've watched plenty of games here, it can be tough to break teams down at times so there's loads of emphasis on trying to get behind teams really and try to play the passes to penetrate teams. Sometimes it can get frustrating playing in front of teams a lot so it's just trying to do that a lot more all over the pitch.
Was today a good reaction to the defeat at Parkhead?
Definitely. I thought we started really well. I thought we started fast, aggressive, didn't really get the goal that we wanted to and they came back into the game a little bit at about half an hour which was a bit frustrating but you can't dominate a game of football for every second of every minute, it's tough to do. Respect to them for coming back into it, I thought they rode the storm well and had a little spell for five minutes but then we came back into the game for the last 10 minutes of the half and got the two goals. Pleasing to get the performance along with the result as well.
How much do you feel the team has grown since the manager came in?
Loads. I think it's all there to see for everyone. Individual performances, collectively, we've got players coming back in now as well so hopefully, we can just keep growing. He's probably touched on it himself, there's still more to come.
What can the team achieve in the second half of the season?
There's still everything to play for. We're still in all the competitions. Fighting for the league, fighting for the Scottish Cup and we're in the last 16 of the Europa League so loads to fight for, loads to grow. We're getting lads back as I just said from injury so if we try and keep the injuries low, I'm sure we can fight on all fronts.
Is the belief there that you can go far in these competitions?
Of course there is. We've proved it in the past we can go all the way in all of them. There's loads of belief in the squad and with the manager and this set of lads, there's no limit.
Any news on a contract renewal?
I've never shied away from saying how much I love the club and I'd love to stay but it's obviously between me and the club to sort something out.
