- Goal target
- Steven Davis influence
- Jack Butland 'love'
- La Manga benefits
Rabbi Matondo has been speaking ahead of Saturday's clash with St Mirren.
Here is everything he had to say.
What are your thoughts on your performance against Hibs?
It was a good team performance, first and foremost. It was nice to be back out there and back in the league and get the result we did because it's not an easy place to go.
How important is it that you continue that form tomorrow?
We've just got to focus on ourselves and take it game by game. We've got another big one tomorrow, it's not going to be easy going there. We'll give it our all and go for all three points like we always try and do for every game.
How do you feel you are individually at the moment?
I'm getting to where I need to be. Going away to La Manga helped that with the hard work we had there and the friendly games preparing for these games now so I feel like I'm in a good way and I've just got to show that and push.
Is there more to come from you?
I'd like to think so. I believe there is. Obviously, I have to prove that on a regular basis in training every day and in the games but I feel in a good way.
What has the manager said to you to kick on after the winter break?
Like he's always said from the get-go, to believe in what we're doing, to work hard for each other and to do what we set out for the team. As long as we keep doing what the manager wants, I'm sure we'll be in a good way and we proved that in the last game. We know there are many games to come but we just need to keep on the way we've been going.
What have you got from Steven Davis during your time here?
He's been top since I've come in. The ultimate professional, top guy and he had a wonderful career so it was good to share the dressing room with him and get an insight into how to be as professional as him and to last in the game for as long as he did. I wish him the best on his retirement. It was a pleasure to share a locker room with him.

Does his professionalism rub off on the rest of the squad?
Yeah, 100 percent. He's had a top career and it doesn't come by coincidence that he's had that. He's put in the work, he's professional every day and it's shown in how long he's had his career for and where he's played.
What are your personal ambitions for the rest of the season?
To play as many games as I can and to help the team and up my numbers. By me doing the best I can do, I'm sure I can help the team so just playing regularly and helping the team.
Have you been given specific targets?
As an attacking player, you always try and help the team by scoring goals and assisting. It's something the manager would demand from all his attackers. I know the personal goals I have so no matter what the manager says to me I know what I want to do and what I want to achieve for the club and myself. Ultimately, it's pushing myself and getting there.
How important is Jack Butland to the team?
I love Jack, he's top. He's an unbelievable goalkeeper, we all think highly of him. It wasn't an easy game [against Hibs] but they had chances to get back in the game but Jack is unbelievable and has been all season. I've got nothing else to say about him but he's a great goalkeeper and a great person as well.
How much confidence does he give you?
A lot. Sometimes you might not be at your best but with a top-class keeper like him you know you've always got a chance. If we do our jobs up front we know he can look after us as well as our good defence as well.
How much have you enjoyed life in Glasgow?
It's been up and down but I've enjoyed it. It's been a good experience, a good learning curve and a massive step in my career at a massive club. Hopefully, many more appearances to come.
