Rangers are closing in on the signing of Oscar Cortes.
Philippe Clement is edging towards securing his third signing at Ibrox boss.
It has emerged from reports in South America that Rangers have reached an agreement with Ligue 1 side Lens for the young Colombian winger.
The deal will be an initial loan move, with Rangers obtaining an option to buy the attacker in the summer.
The 20-year-old joined the French outfit in the summer from Milllonarios in his homeland. He's made ten appearances this season, scoring four goals and notching two assists. Only four of those outings came in Ligue 1, though.
Cortes has made a name for himself playing as a youth international for Colombia. He primarily turns out at right wing but is said to be comfortable across the attacking areas of the pitch.
It follows on from Friday's news that left-back Jefte could be the next player to join Rangers as part of Clement's recruitment drive. The left-back is due to arrive on a permanent deal from Brazillian side Fluminense.
Rangers have signed Fabio Silva and Mohamed Diomande so far this month. The window closes on February 1.
Meanwhile, Michael Stewart insists it would be wrong to overlook the upturn in Cyriel Dessers' form at Rangers.

However, the former Hearts midfielder has pointed to the forward as an example of why Scottish clubs must be more willing to take a chance on domestic talent rather than imports from foreign leagues.
The Nigeria international, 29, scored his third goal in as many games against St Mirren yesterday, as he raced into double-figures for the season in the scoring charts. His goal in Paisley secured a vital 1-0 win for Philippe Clement's men.
The Ibrox club brought him in from Cremonese in the summer for a fee of around £4.3m, something they've been criticised for by their own supporters.
