Rangers misfit Jose Cifuentes looks set to arrive in Brazil this week to finalise his loan move to Cruzeiro after their manager confirmed he expects new arrivals at his club.
The Ecuadorian midfielder has failed to settle in Glasgow and has made no impact at Ibrox since his summer move from MLS side Los Angeles FC.
He rejected a move to Turkey because he would rather return to South America with Cruzeiro -owned and backed by legendary former Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo - who are set to sign him on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

And the club's manager, Nicolas Larcamon, expects to see new players arrive at Belo Horizonte soon.
He said: "It's no secret we are looking for new players. I am sure we will have news to report very soon on that front, but I don't want to comment on the specific names mentioned so far."
Cifuentes made just six starts in the Premiership this season and another six starts in European football. He failed to score a goal and was sent off in his last league appearance for Philippe Clement's side against Dundee.
