Willie Collum has been appointed to referee an upcoming Rangers game, it has been confirmed.
It comes a matter of weeks after the Ibrox club requested that the Scottish FA not involve the official in their matches going forward.
Collum was on VAR duty during Celtic's 2-1 victory over Rangers on December 30.
And Rangers' gripes derive from the official failing to order on-field ref Nick Walsh to take a look at his pitchside monitor following Alistair Johnston's handball inside his own penalty area.
The SFA met with Rangers chiefs to discuss the matter in the days that followed, however, James Bisgrove & Co. were left unsatisfied with what referees chief Crawford Allan had to say.
Now, Collum will return to Ibrox this weekend for Rangers' Scottish Cup match against Ayr United.
The game will take place on Saturday evening live on TV. It will also mark Celtic legend Scott Brown's return to Ibrox for the first time as a manager having recently taken over that role at the Championship club.
The SFA have confirmed that Dougie Potter and Craig Ferguson will be Collum's assistant referees, with Craig Napier the fourth official and Andrew Dallas and Graeme Stewart as the VAR and assistant VAR.
Meanwhile, Rangers midfielder Jose Cifuentes' loan move to Cruzerio has been delayed until next week because of Brazilian red tape.

The Ecuadorian midfielder has agreed to quit Ibrox after a miserable half-season spell and return to South America with Cruziro happy to loan him with an option to buy.
He was expected to be at the club this week to kickstart his career, but it's been revealed in Brazil the 24-year-old won't now arrive until next week.
Cifuentes will now leave Glasgow on Friday and has to fly to his home in Ecuador to collect documentation for the move to go through.
