Rangers boss Philippe Clement has confirmed that Ryan Jack will miss the upcoming match against Ross County due to an injury and that Leon Balogun is currently training with a protective mask.
The Scotland international sustained a knock during the 2-0 victory over Ayr United and now the Ibrox manager has confirmed he will be unavailable for the next game.
Balogun meanwhile suffered a facial injury against Livingston which Clement previously referred to as "not good".
And now it looks likely that both men will miss the Scottish Premiership fixture on Wednesday evening.
"Ryan Jack will not be in the squad as he is still in his recovery programme as we rebuild him from injury," the Belgian said.
"Leon Balogun trained with a mask, we still need to make adjustments to the mask - I have experience with this that is normal."
Clement's side have the chance to go top of the league when they face the Dingwall club who are currently under the stewardship of Don Cowie as interim boss after Derek Adams resigned from his post last week.
If the hosts win by three or more goals, they will leapfrog rivals Celtic.

But the 49-year-old insists his team are taking things one game at a time.
"I've been long enough in this game, the mindset is always important and need that from our players," he continued.
"To be hungry, united and ambitious. I'm really happy about the focus of my team and they understand the next game is the most important.
"Players always have pride, and coaches have super motivation when given a chance, so we expect a really tough game. We will have to be really good with and without the ball."
"I have the confidence to make the changes, and I know it's the only way to be ready for all the challenges we face.
"There will be a game almost every three days and we need everyone to be ready, a player with only five minutes can be the difference in winning a trophy."
