On loan Rangers flop Sam Lammers admits he's not certain what the future will hold for him after his spell at Utrecht is up and he's due to return to Ibrox.
Lammers netted his first goal for his new club at the weekend and is delighted with his return to the Eredivisie after a disappointing first six months at Rangers.
Utrecht have now gone 13 games unbeaten, a new club record and Lammers - who still has three years left on his deal at Rangers when his loan spell is up - isn't sure what will happen at the end of the season.
And he admitted he was surprised when Rangers indicated to him he could go out on loan.
He said: "We have not looked beyond this second half of the season, we will see what happens next after the season has ended.
"But during the period that I am here, I want to have an impact.
"It was unexpected when I was told I could go on loan because it was after a period with a lot of playing time.

"I had signed a four-year contract in Scotland with the intention of staying in the same place for a long time.
"And I didn't have to leave either.
"But Utrecht immediately registered an interest and took decisive action. That played a role in my choice last month.
"They showed they wanted me and the positive conversations with Jordy Zuidam, the technical director and the manager, Ron Jans, along with the confidence I felt the whole club had, persuaded me to join them.
"And also because they shared my ambition of playing every week.
"I want to help Utrecht to a place where they belong, which means reaching European football. I want to show what I have learned in recent years,
"There's a huge amount of quality in our team here at Utrecht."
