On fire Sam Lammers has scored yet AGAIN as he helped Utrecht to a 3-2 victory over Heerenveen tonight.
The 26-year-old Rangers loanee grabbed a brace that means he's now scored seven times in the Dutch top flight since arriving in January.
His form is in stark contrast to his time at Rangers where he scored just twice in 31 appearances.
Crucially, while Rangers used Lammers as an attacking midfielder, Utrecht boss Ron Jans seems to be using the player in a more familiar central striker role.
He's now scored six goals in his last five games, propelling his team away from the relegation zone. They now sit in eighth position.
It's good news for Rangers who will hope they can utilise the player next season or, more likely, sell him at a profit on the £3m it cost to prise him from Italian side Atalanta in the summer.
