Todd Cantwell was in the thick of the action as Rangers and Celtic's players clashed at full-time yesterday.

And the former Norwich City player couldn't resist the chance to revisit the bust-up on his social media channels last night.

The 26-year-old was sent on as a second-half substitute by Philippe Clement as the hosts chased the game at Ibrox. He replaced Tom Lawrence, who started the game in the No.10 position.

During his time on the field, Cantwell could be seen embroiled in an apparent war of words with Celtic's captain Callum McGregor.

And those tensions clearly boiled over at the end of the game, as Cantwell could be seen shoving the Scotland international after they shook hands upon John Beaton's final whistle.

This sparked a bust-up involving several players from either team. 

Greg Taylor was first in there to protect his side's skipper, with Cameron Carter-Vickers also rushing in. Leon Balogun and Connor Goldson could be seen in the thick of it too, as Philippe Clement tried to settle things down between those involved.

Cantwell took to his Instagram story to share an image of the confrontation, as he showed himself then pushing Taylor away following his run-in with McGregor.

Clement admitted post-match that he would look at images of the full-time scenes in order to distinguish who was at fault.

"I didn't see what really happened or how it started," the 49-year-old said. "So, I will look at images about that, because I don't want that.

"I want everyone to stay calm, after the game also, and there are no fussy things. That's why I tried to calm down everyone as fast as possible. I'm glad we managed to do that."

McGregor said: "Listen, it's football. It's two passionate teams that want to win. It's no drama at all."
