The focus for the majority of yesterday was on the 90-odd minutes played at Ibrox between Rangers and Celtic.

But after the pulsating 3-3 encounter finished, much of the attention was on two players in particular - Todd Cantwell and Callum McGregor.

The Rangers midfielder and Celtic captain clashed at full-time, with the former pushing the latter after shaking hands.

It all stemmed from the pair exchanging words during the second half on the field of play, with the scoreline at 2-1.

The Sky Sports cameras spotted the pair engaging with each other, appearing to attempt to wind each other up, as there was a pause in the play.

And eagle-eyed fans on social media seem to have worked out what was said between the rivals, which eventually sparked the on-field rammy at the end of the game.

As the pair conversed on the pitch, with the score in Celtic's favour at the time prior to Abdallah Sima's equaliser for 2-2, sleuths online have highlighted that McGregor pointed to the scoreboard at Ibrox and told Cantwell 'It's over'.

Responding to the jibe, the 26-year-old responded by saying 'We'll see,' several times. 

In the end, Cantwell was correct, with the score ending at three apiece, as it remained as you were at the top of the Premiership.

Adam Idah thought he'd won it for Brendan Rodgers' side a minute after Sima scored Rangers' second. 

However, deep into eight minutes of stoppage time, Rabbi Matondo unleashed a wicked effort beyond Joe Hart in the Celtic goal to send the packed-out Ibrox crowd wild.

Philippe Clement's side now focus their attention on their game in hand against Dundee on Wednesday night.

Should they manage to pick up a victory in the City of Discovery, then they will top the table by two points heading into the post-split fixtures.
