Nicolas Raskin's time at Rangers could be over, suspects Andy Halliday.

The former Ibrox player has suggested that the current Gers midfielder could be 'done' under Philippe Clement.

The Belgian's last start for Rangers came in a shock 2-1 loss to Motherwell at the beginning of March.

He's found game time hard to come by with Mohamed Diomande, John Lundstram, Dujon Sterling and even Kieran Dowell all getting the nod ahead of the 23-year-old.

Motherwell player Halliday reckons Rangers will actively be looking to sell Raskin this summer as they make room for other targets.

He mentioned on Open Goal: “What’s happening with Raskin by the way? He’s got to be done you would imagine. He got left out of the squad for the Celtic game and he’s been an unused sub for the last few weeks.

“Let’s be honest, you know I’m a fan of Raskin, but he’s not done well this year. It’s at the point where you think Raskin is away in the summer. It’s got to that point where he’s not getting a sniff, you’d imagine they’re actively trying to sell him.”

Meanwhile, Steven Davis believes suggestions over the 'fragility' of the Rangers squad are premature after they dropped points in the title race at the weekend.

A slip-up against Ross County saw Celtic maintain their four-point gap at the top of the Premiership table.

Rangers can close that down to a single point this evening with a victory over Dundee at Dens Park.

And Davis, a fans' favourite at Ibrox during his time as a player and stand-in head coach, believes the mentality of the dressing room is fine, as Philippe Clement's side go in chase of the league title.

He said: "For me, we didn't win enough trophies in my second spell at the club and we had the quality there to do it. We fell short at times and those questions are always going to be asked until you get the success that you want."
