Rangers midfielder John Lundstram is a man in demand this summer - as another team's interest emerges.

Trabzonspor have opened talks with the 30-year-old about a move to Turkey, with his contract at Ibrox expiring at the end of May.

Philippe Clement has publicly admitted that Lundstram has offers on the table from other clubs, while a new deal from Rangers remains on the table. 

The ex-Sheffield United man has been a key player during his three years in Glasgow, having joined under Steven Gerrard. Clement has already vowed never to let such a pivotal player get to this sort of situation again under his watch.

Now, The Scottish Sun claims that Ipswich Town are the latest team who are prepared to make a move for Lundstram.

His hopes of a return to the Premier League could be alive with the Tractor Boys having secured automatic promotion from the Championship with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield yesterday.

Kieran McKenna wants to add top-flight experience to his team ahead of their assault on the richest league in the world next term, and Lundstram fits that bill perfectly. 

No decision has been made by Lundstram at this stage, while he remains focussed on helping Rangers to achieve a domestic treble this season. 

However, his teammate Borna Barisic is believed to have agreed a pre-contract with Trabzonspor already.

Should he join Ipswich though, he'll join fellow ex-Rangers player George Edmundson. 

Town hasn't played in the Premier League since the 2001/02 season. They have achieved back-to-back promotions having won League One last term.

Meanwhile, Neil Doncaster has revealed the SPFL will consider a rule change after the lengthy dispute with Rangers over the cinch sponsorship.

Ibrox chiefs had been involved in a long legal dispute over the used car company's sponsorship of the Scottish Premiership due to their deal with Park Motor Group.
