Rangers are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign South African winger Relebohile Mofokeng.
The Ibrox club are thought to be leading the race for the 19-year-old who has been tracked by Red Bull Salzburg, Wolves and Al-Ahly.
The Scottish Sun report that Rangers have "stolen a march" in the frantic transfer race to land the Orlando Pirates player.
Mofokeng - who can play in midfield as well as on the left flank - has scored four goals and provided six assists for his South African club this term.
He progressed through the SAFA-Transnet School of Excellence before flourishing in senior football.
Rangers are also said to be interested in a transfer swoop for Ferencvaros winger Adama Traore.
It's claimed the 28-year-old is valued at £3.5m by his Hungarian club having scored 14 goals in 24 outings this season.
Reports in Africa and Hungary suggest Rangers are in the hunt for Traore with Fulham also among the contenders for a transfer swoop.

It comes as Philippe Clement is expected to carry out an overhaul of his squad in the summer after revealing Rangers are at the "end of a cycle".
The Belgian manager explained changes will be made during the window but insisted his full focus is first on the Scottish Cup Final 2024.
He said: "There will be changes but what is significant? There will be changes, we need changes also.
"I think we are as a club at some ways at the end of a cycle so we need to change some things.
"And I want to end this cycle with a really big moment next week to end the cycle in a good way."
