Rangers appear to be on the cusp of signing Jefte Vital da Silva Dias, otherwise known as Jefte, from Fluminense on a permanent deal.
As posted on social media, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano believes the 20-year-old Brazilian left-back is in the process of completing a medical for the Ibrox side to become Philippe Clement's first signing of the summer.

As covered by the Rangers Review earlier this year, it looked like Jefte was Ibrox-bound during the January transfer window, however APOEL Nicosia blocked the move by refusing to release the player from his then current loan deal at the Cypriot side.
At the time, a transfer fee of £400,000 was reported, however it's unclear at this stage if that remains the case now.
APOEL have used the Brazilian as an out-and-out left back this season, however the 20-year-old can always be used as a left-sided wing-back.
With the futures of both Borna Barasic and Ridvan Yilmaz the subject of scrutiny in recent weeks and months, Jefte seems like a good fit on the left flank of Philippe Clement's side.
