Cyriel Dessers expects to remain at Rangers despite confessing that there is “interest” in his services.
The Rangers forward spoke to Dutch outlet, Ziggo Sports, about his future while out on the Light Blues pre-season camp.
"I am very happy here, so I would like to stay,” Dessers confessed amid speculation that he could be sold this summer.
“There is some interest, but my intention is to stay and then we will see what happens."
Question marks and speculation over Dessers’ position with the Scottish Premiership giants intensified this week after Philippe Clement revealed Rangers would need to sell players in order to freshen the squad with more new additions.
“That’s the reality,” he said. “That’s the reality that the board told me a few months ago.

"I know this, the recruitment team knows this also. This is the reality of the club. I had other expectations when I came in, in October, I have to say.
“But I know the reality now. I am very motivated to build the club and help in that.”
