Connor Goldson was meant to feature for Rangers against Birmingham City this evening, Philippe Clement has confirmed.
The 31-year-old has been the subject of transfer talks with Aris Limassol and it appears that switch could be edging closer to a formality.
Rangers face the English League One side at their St Andrew's home in their penultimate pre-season friendly encounter, and the defender had been pictured travelling south with his teammates.
However, in a turn of events, a formal offer has been registered for Goldson and now he's on his travels yet again in the hope of sealing a fresh start away from Ibrox.

Clement explained the centre-backs absence to Rangers TV ahead of the clash.
"Connor was planned to start today so that was the idea but there was a concrete offer for him so I allowed him to go and speak with this team," Clement stated.
"That's why he left today, to go and speak with this team and we will see in the next couple of days."
More to follow.
