Nathan Patterson showed his Rangers support as he starred in a YouTube video with Everton superfan Stillryan.

The former Ibrox defender - who signed for the Goodison Park side for a record fee - appeared alongside the social media influencer where he took part in a 'punch me' game.

Patterson, 22, donned a pink boxing glove as he was asked to punch the influencer in the stomach every time he heard the name of a Scottish club better than Celtic.

Clearly, Patterson was quick to dish out the blows in the light-hearted game as Stillryan named Hearts, Dundee (featured with a Dundee United badge), Motherwell, Ross County, Aberdeen and St Mirren.

Then, with Rangers the final club, Patterson sent the social media star recoiling from a heavy punch before the pair laughed together.

The YouTuber commented: "That was sound. That was sound." Before adding: "I didn't think you had that in you!"

The clip - which has been viewed more than 500k times on X - comes from a Great Everton Bake-Off video that the influencer filmed with Patterson and Dwight McNeil.

Patterson played 26 times for Everton last season before being ruled out through a hamstring injury.

The defender - who left Rangers for a fee of around £16m - was unable to compete for Scotland at Euro 2024 through injury but was previously a regular squad member for Steve Clarke in qualifying.
