The heavy schedule at the start of the 2024/25 campaign continues for Rangers this weekend with a match against St Johnstone.

It's League Cup weekend, as Scotland's five European representatives enter the last-16 of the competition, with a place in next month's quarter-finals up for grabs.

Well, after being stretchered off the field against Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday night, it's not surprise that Ridvan Yilmaz will not make this game.

Clement confirmed in his Friday lunchtime press conference that the Turkish full-back will be out of action for anywhere between four to six weeks.

He could be joined on the sidelines by Scott Wright, who has a small issue ahead of this cup tie, meanwhile, Leon Balogun remains a doubt.

There was no mention of Brazilian forward Danilo, who was spotted limping at Hampden during midweek.
