Celtic and Rangers go head to head in the Scottish Premiership for the first time this season on Sunday.

Will there be any away fans at Celtic vs Rangers?

No. There will be no Rangers supporters at Celtic Park for the league match.

A Celtic statement read: "Across a number of months, Celtic has completed all necessary works with regard to accommodating away supporters for derby matches.

"Without a guarantee that our supporters could attend Ibrox in January, however, unfortunately, we were not in a position to allocate tickets to away supporters at Celtic Park for the forthcoming match in September.

"We will continue to engage with all parties to seek a satisfactory solution."

A Rangers statement confirmed: “Rangers was today informed that Celtic will make no allocation for away fans for the September Old Firm game. 

“The allocation to be implemented by both clubs was clear and Rangers was taking all steps towards fulfilling that agreement. 

“In the meantime, we can confirm that no away allocation will apply for the January Old Firm fixture at Ibrox. This is consistent with the reciprocity embedded in the agreement reached between the clubs and the SPFL.”
