RANGERS star Vaclav Cerny has blasted his own FA for allowing the Czech Republic's home game to be completely taken over by visiting Ukrainian fans.

Cerny produced a fine performance in the 3-2 Nations League win over Ukraine with a couple of assists in Prague.

But the Czech supporters stayed away after their side were thrashed 4-1 in Georgia in their last match and the vast majority of the crowd was made up by Ukrainian fans.

And that infuriated the Ibrox winger.

He said: "How can we allow our ground to be like that?

"We can't allow tickets to be sold like this. I'd rather play in an empty stadium.

"I am a Czech patriot and the game was played in Prague. Everyone saw how bad it looked - it was terrible.

"I know the mood before the match was not ideal after what happened in Georgia, but we wanted to show our fans what we could do. It was a shame so little of them turned out to watch us.

"I am well aware it has been difficult for our fans, but we cannot allow this to happen again. It just looked wrong for our home game.

"I am just really angry about it.

"This wouldn't happen in any other country in the world. Czech football has got to be better than this."
