Romanian FA president Razvan Burleanu admits he is worried about Ianis Hagi's situation at Rangers.

And he's desperate for his countryman to get a move from Ibrox.

Hagi remains frozen out under Philippe Clement and has been reduced to playing friendlies for the B team, despite being a regular pick for his country.

And the president of his national association has expressed his concern over Hagi's position.

Burleanu said: "Ianis has an exceptional talent. We have relied on him at key times. I remember the matches against Israel, Slovakia and Lithuania - all games where Ianis Hagi made the difference.

"Yes, we are worried about the situation with him at Rangers."

Burleanu added: "But we are sure that Ianis is so talented that he just needs a place where the environment is right for him. "Hopefully, it will be possible at Rangers. If not, let's hope he gets a transfer, when it is possible."

Hagi scored two goals in a game last week against Huddersfield Town for the B team and last played for Rangers in August last year before going out on loan to Alaves in Spain.
