As part of Philippe Clement's well-publicised Rangers rebuild, Ryan Jack was among those who left the club this summer.
The defender swapped Glasgow for Istanbul, signing for TFF First League club Esenler Erokspor on a two-year deal.
Now several weeks into life at his new club, the Scotland internationalist has spoken about the challenges of moving abroad to play football, including those related to communication and the differences in cultural norms.

In conversation with Tom English and Liam Macleod on the BBC's Scottish Football Podcast, Jack explained that when his time at Rangers came to an end, he'd always considered moving abroad to try something new and he's pleased with his decision to have done so.
He said: "The football's different, the culture's different, obviously living in Istanbul, it's a great city. I'm just taking it all in.
"The manager, he doesn't speak English, or very broken English. A lot of the coaching staff are the same. A lot of the Turkish players don't speak a lot of English, so for me, the first couple of days, it was just getting my head around it all and trying to communicate.
"I'd come home and think, how am I going to get through this with communication and speaking to people? But credit to everyone at the club, they've made a big effort with me and they've got me a translator.
"The coaching staff are trying to learn a bit of English with me, and so are the players. So yeah, it's all going well and I'm enjoying it, so hopefully that continues."
