Rangers delivered one of their best results of the year last night (Thursday) when they swept Nice aside 4-1 away from home in the UEFA Europa League.
The win sees Philippe Clement's men move into the new league-phase's top eight, on 10 points with three games remaining.
Teams who finish inside the top eight after eight games will automatically progress to the competition's round of 16, whereas those ranked 9th to 24th qualify for the knock-out round play-off.
Those who finish 25 or above face elimination – a position which, according to Opta Stats (via Nils Mackay on social media) Rangers have a 0.1% chance of finding themselves in.
The odds of Rangers winning the league-phase are equally slim at 0.3%, however a top-eight finish at this stage has a likelihood of 25.6%.
