Joshua Barrie was in place at McDiarmid Park to watch Rangers' 1-0 win over St Johnstone.

Glen Kamara's third-minute strike was the difference on a rutted Perth pitch hardly conducive to slick football.

Rangers were flat for large portions of the game and our man at the game was expecting to see changes at half-time. They didn't come and Giovanni van Bronckhorst declined to use ANY substitutes throughout the second half.

It was a situation that caused surprise given the tired-looking performance.
