Rangers showed grit and resolve to draw 1-1 at Parkhead after a superb second-half showing.
Fashion Sakala equalised after Jota scored in the first 45 and the Zambian should have won it with five minutes to go when put through one on one with Joe Hart.
Here are the talking points from the fiercely contested game.
Out and in Fashion
The Zambian is the latest in a long line of super-quick wingers or strikers who their find sheer pace isn't as much of an asset at Rangers as it has been with other teams. A willing worker who plays with a smile on his face, there's no doubt he's been a great personality around the club - but that only takes you so far. Is he a winger? Is he a striker? It's hard to say as he hasn't really excelled himself in either role. Today at Parkhead we saw his mercurial nature once again, giving the ball away in silly circumstances and yet finishing with aplomb from a narrow angle to grab the equaliser. Sakala found his best form in the second half and should have won it at the death when put through but he blasted against the post. He must find consistency but there's a player there and he certainly has an eye for goal.
Borna must wake up
The Croat had a decent game but for the second match running at Parkhead, he sold the jerseys at the back post. For Liel Abada in the last encounter, read Jota here. The Portuguese winger cut across the full-back easily and slotted the ball into the net from close range. Barisic fell asleep at the crucial moment and the net duly bulged. He's 29-years-old and doesn't have inexperience to lean on as an excuse. He needs to address this clear weakness in his game if he wants to remain first choice under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The title is gone but the inquest can wait
A win was needed to leave any chance of winning the title but in truth, the championship was relinquished with the 2-1 loss at Ibrox at the start of April. There will be consternation over how this has been allowed to happen given the 25 point lead last season but now is not the time for inquests. With a Europa League and Scottish Cup to be won there are still incredible rewards up for grabs and Rangers are in good shape to win both.
