Jon McLaughlin: Great save when Antonio was slipped through in the opening skirmishes. The keeper made himself big to send the ball spinning into the air before he made an excellent further recovery to knock the ball out for a corner. Used the ball well in a typically composed display in his distribution. 7
James Tavernier: Same old, same old from the captain. A strong display from the buckaneering Englishman who attacked and defended with equal vigour. He linked up particularly well with the livewire Matondo and that will be a relationship to keep an eye on for the season ahead. 7
Borna Barisic: Looked determined to lay down a marker for the season ahead, careering into challenges with gusto and bombing up and down the left-flank. Once again, he's the club's first choice left-back and this was a top perfromance to show why. Substituted after 75 minutes to a standing ovation. 8
Connor Goldson: His partnership with Souttar looked understandably rusty given it's fledgling nature but he organised the defence well and made a goal-saving block with 25 minutes to go. 7
John Souttar: Great pass with the outside of his foot to release Colak early on. Hit a couple of lovely cross-field passes that only narrowly missed their mark. Looks comfortable bringing the ball out, as expected. Substituted at half-time. Can be satisfied with his Ibrox debut. 6
Ryan Jack: A very Ryan Jack performance over 45 minutes. Neat, tidy and snappy in the tackle. Used the ball as well as ever. 6
Glen Kamara: An excellent game from the Finn who looks to be growing into the demands of a van Bronckhorst side with every passing appearance. Showed off his wonderful swivel to meander past takles and has a burst of pace to get past players. Like Calvin Bassey before him, it seems that van Bronckhorst has seen something that he wants to develop in turning Kamara into more of an attacking threat. Dropped back into a deeper role before being subbed in the second half. 7
John Lundstram: Grafted throughout the game, doing the dirty work and was always available to take the ball in tight situations. Showed a couple of moments of great skill when he looked likely to be dispossessed. Arguably now the club's main man in midfield. 7
Scott Wright: A quiet half for the former Aberdeen winger who was kept well quitet by impressive West Ham kid Jarrod Bowen. Substituted at half-time. 5
Ryan Kent: A delicious nutmeg on Bowen in the opening seconds showed hhe was in to mood and he toremented West Ham throughout in a touchline hugging performance that opened up space by stretching the play. Scored the second with a controlled finish into the corener of the net that capped a breathtaking team move. 8
Antonio Colak: A very impressive display from the Croatian who showcased why Ross Wilson was so keen to get him in the building. While he's clearly a focal point for attacks given his size and build, he's no slouch and looks to run in behind at every opportunity. He's also got a lovely, sure touch in the build up and brings others into play well. 7
Substitutes
James Sands: Slotted in beside Goldson in the centre of defence for the second 45. looked comfortable enough and seemed to relish the physical battle with a powerful West Ham side. 6
Rabbi Matondo: The young winger exploded into the game from the moment the second half started. Quick and direct, the Hammers couldn't cope. A lovely run and pinpoint cross made life easy for fellow new boy Lawrence to score before his international teammate returned the favour a few minutes later. Matondo had more to do but crashed the ball home with a truly emphatic finish. A very promising display. 8
Tom Lawrence: The 28-year-old had scored and notched two assists within 13 minutes of his Ibrox debut. He looks a real goal threat, lingering in dangerous postions and bursting into the box with late runs. A terrific 45 minutes. 8
Fashion Sakala: Looked lively when he came on. Full of energy as usual. 4
Adam Devine: Entered the fray at left-back with 15 minutes left for Barisic. 3
Scott Arfield: Played wider-right to allow Matondo to switch left when Kent was taken off. 2
Charlie McCann: Struggled manfully in midfield as West Ham pushed to close the deficit and pushed forward. 3
