DAVID MOYES discovered Rangers had reached the final four of the Europa League while conducting press duties last night.
The West Ham boss was speaking to the media when he was informed Giovanni van Brocnkhorst's side had triumphed over Braga in extra-time.
Moyes had already led his side to the semi-finals as West Ham claimed a 3-0 win against Lyon to give them a 4-1 win on aggregate.
It sets up a semi-final tie with Eintracht Frankfurt while Rangers will take on RB Leipzig for a spot in the final.
And when informed of Rangers' progress, Moyes was complimentary. He said: "Rangers are through? Oh wow.
"Great for Rangers. Yeah. Great for Rangers, fantastic."
Kemar Roofe netted in extra-time to claim victory at Ibrox last night.
The striker won the day for Rangers after David Carmo's late header forced an extra 30 minutes following James Tavernier's double.
