FORMER Rangers striker Kris Boyd was watching as German giants Bayern Munich sealed a tenth consecutive league title with a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Saturday - and he couldn't help firing a cheeky dig towards Celtic.
Julian Nagelsmann's men wrapped up a tenth Bundesliga in a row in thrilling fashion at the weekend and the achievement reminded Boyd of the Parkhead club's own bid to make history.
Last season, the wheels came flying off Celtic's ten-in-a-row bid as Steven Gerrard's Rangers stormed to the Premiership title, following years of goading from triumphant Hoops fans that ten straight championships were inevitable.
One supporter of the Parkhead side even attempted to get 'Ten-in-a-row' tattooed on his body, only for the tattoo artist to mishear the punter and instead write the name 'Terry Munro'.
The photograph went viral in 2017 when a fan explained the mishap and Boyd recalled the incident as he aimed a sly barb towards the Parkhead club.
Posting on Instagram, the former Rangers striker shared an image celebrating Bayern's achievement, adding: "Turns out Terry Munro is German... Congrats Bayern on reaching the 10."
