RANGERS are out to make history tonight in Seville as they bid to lift the Europa League trophy.
The Ibrox side face Eintracht Frankfurt this evening in the showpiece final in Spain.
And while Rangers fans - both in Seville and back home - are only dreaming of seeing their side lift the trophy, the result will also impact their European journey next season.
Dependent on the result, Rangers could either guarantee Champions League group stage football as top seeds next season, or, they could face qualifying rounds to make it there.
There is also a spot in the UEFA Super Cup final up for grabs for the victors which will see them play either Real Madrid or Liverpool in a lucrative fixture.
Here's what the result tonight could mean for Rangers...
If Rangers win Europa League final
RANGERS will go straight into the Champions League group stages should they win in Seville tonight.
Not only will victory ensure Champions League group stage football, but it will also see Rangers enter as a top seed team in theory meaning an 'easier' draw.
A Europa League triumph would also guarantee UEFA Super Cup participation against the winners of the Champions League this season - Real Madrid or Liverpool.
If Rangers lose Europa League final
A LOSS in tonight's final would mean no guarantee of Champions League football for Rangers next season.
Instead they'd go through qualifying stages earned from their second placed finish in the Scottish Premiership.
It would see Rangers go into the third qualifying round, meaning they are four matches from the group stage instead.
