Abdallah Sima has opened the door for a possible permanent Rangers transfer, insisting he is loving life in Glasgow.
The Senegal international has scored 12 goals so far this term and manager Philippe Clement has revealed that he is set to open talks with Brighton over making his loan deal a permanent one.
And the 22-year-old who is set to feature for Rangers against Real Betis in the Europa League tonight, is also keen to make the deal happen, after impressing since coming into the club in the summer.
He explained: “You know, in football anything can happen.
“To be honest, I am really happy to be in Glasgow right now and wearing this special shirt for me. It is a team that I really like.
“I said in my first interview it was a club I really like.
“They have everything for me to be happy.
“I am happy to be here and I hope we are going to find some things from here.
“I am happy to be here and to be helping the team now."
Ahead of the Betis clash tonight, Sima hailed his manager Philippe Clement, saying: “I think the first time that I heard his name and that he was going to be the coach of Rangers I asked some players about him.
“All of them said he was a good coach, that he would help me for sure and that he would play good football.
“I was excited to work with him.
“My first day, I remember.
“I am a player who likes to run behind and find spaces so he helped a lot with that for sure because now we are playing the football that I like to play.
“That is why I keep scoring goals.
“I hope to score tomorrow also.
“He is not helping just me but everyone in the club.
“I need to use my quality.
“He is helping me to do this and playing well now.
“The way he wants us to play football is how I like to play football.
“That is why I think he has helped me understand.”
