Ally McCoist has backed Rangers to defeat Celtic this weekend and march towards the Scottish Premiership title.
All eyes are on Ibrox with the outcome of the latest meeting between these two fierce opponents likely to have a significant effect on who has city bragging rights. A point separates the teams with less than ten league games remaining.
The Rangers legend admitted it was "poor" that he won't be in attendance for the match on Sunday, and then went on to praise three Celtic players before backing his former club to lay down a marker by winning the clash.
He told talkSPORT: "Listen, I'm going to be brutally honest with you, it's a difficult one to call. I think if (Callum) McGregor plays for Celtic then that's a real boost for them.

"They've probably got the best finisher on the pitch in Kyogo (Furuhashi). I think (Cameron) Carter-Vickers is massive for them at the back.
"But for that reason I'm going for 2-1 Rangers."
